Dr. Ki Hoon Kim - Continental Chairman, North America Dr. Ki Hoon Kim was born in Choong Chung Province, South Korea in 1952. He first came to serve in America in 1977 as pastor of the Korean Evangelical Association in Chicago. In 1996, Dr. Kim was awarded a Masters of Divinity from the Unification Theological Seminary in New York and in 2005; he received an Honorary Doctor of Theology from Sun Moon University in South Korea. Between 1997 and 2007 Dr. Kim served as a bishop in Chicago and also set up the Korean Broadcasting Company, which now publishes the Segye Times weekly, Korean newspaper. Dr. Kim has extensive experience ministering in churches and on college campuses. He served as national chairman of the American Clergy Leadership Conference between 2007 and 2013, and launched the annual True Family Values Banquet which brings together over 1000 clergy leaders and those from business and political communities. Dr. Kim was national leader of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification in Canada between 1996 and 1997 and currently serves as the continental chair of FFWPU in North America. Dr. Kim received the Marriage Blessing with Tamme Song from Boeun city, Choongbuk Province, Korea. They have four children. Familyfed.org - 2018 - Dr. Ki Hoon Kim
