Toru Goto is a Japanese Unification Church member who has been confined by faith breakers in an apartment in Tokyo during 12 years and 7 months. During this time he was pressured to give up his faith and leave the Unification Church.

On 29 September 2015 Japan’s Supreme Court handed Toru Goto the final victory in his civil case against his faith breakers, after he fought a seven-year legal battle to receive justice.
