Born on 21st February 1951 in Anderlecht in Belgium.

He joined the Unification Church in Brussels in 1979.

In 1992 he got married to Yoko Tanabe. They participated in the 30 000 Couples Blessing Ceremony in Seoul.

In 1997 they welcomed their daughter Mishio Jacques.

Since February 2005 Philippe and his spouse Yoko had been responsible for the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification and Universal Peace Federation in Belgium.

The cause of his death was a severe case of leukaemia,

The Seung Hwa “Ascension” Ceremony will be held on Saturday 30th July 2016 at 12 o’clock at the Peace Embassy located at Rue Erasme 31, 1070 Anderlecht (Brussels). This ceremony will be followed by the Won Jeun Ceremony at 15h30 at the Bonlez cemetery, Rue d’En Haut 8, 1325 Chaumont-Gistoux.
