Tim Elder has worked as a freelance translator English-Korean-Japanese. He also worked for the Tongil Foundation in South-Korea, as an assistant to Kook Jin Moon.
In 2015 he became church administrator at the Newfoundland Sanctuary Church in Pennsylvania, USA.
He is married to Nohsook Elder. They were matched in 1978 by Sun Myung Moon and they were married during the 6000-Couple Blessing, a major UC wedding ceremony.
