In 1968 Zin Moon Kim and his wife Gwi Ok Pak were blessed by Sun Myung Moon at a wedding ceremony for 430 Couples. They have four children.
Zin Moon Kim held posts as missionary and itinerary worker in various continents. He had been the regional president of the United States and the vice president of the Word Mission Office, when it was based in New York in the late 1990s and later again after the office moved to Korea, during his final active years. He had also been the regional president of South and Central America.
He was also assigned by Sun Myung Moon as the national messiah to Antigua and Barbuda.
Zin Moon Kim spent his final years with his family. Around 2013 he had suffered a stroke but made a good recovery. He was working on his autobiography when he collapsed at his home on March 3 2016. Soon afterwards he passed away at the Cheongshim International Medical Center. He was 77 years old.
