What to write in the introduction

What to write in the introduction?
The introduction is for an introduction to the topic or the biography. Preferably it should not contain quotes, or only few. You must write the introduction yourself. You can make use of quotes by others, but don't 'lean' on this.
Often a page is started because of one typical article, for example you find information about a topic or a person somewhere on the internet. However, this typical article may be rather specific and not give information that is suitable for an introduction on a page.
In such a case, leave the introduction blank and make a section where this specific content is reported.
