Talk:Copyright, Fair Use & Libel Reference Page for SMMA Editors

Since fair use laws favor research and education aimed at helping the public I think it would be a good idea to add something like the following text to the Mission Statement page:

SMMA is an archive. The purpose of the site is to collect documents and images that present a complete, accurate and truthful picture of the UC and SMM. Contributors are held to high editorial standards. The archive is intended to be a resource for researchers and students by gathering materials from a diverse assortment of sources in one place. The goal of the site is to separate truth from misinformation, to help researchers and other interested persons develop a realistic and accurate picture of the UC and SMM. The purpose is educational and this is a non-profit, non-commercial site dedicated to the public. Contributors, administrators and editors are not paid for their work.
